Outbound Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Warehouse operations and people leadership

• Support warehouse colleagues with Motorola RF scanners, Zebra printers, tablets, and CANVAS.
• Coach and train colleagues on productivity goals and conduct material handling training.
• Manage selection, replenishment, product assembly, and loading; monitor productivity and address causes of indirect time.
• Prepare work and vacation schedules and ensure direct-report timecards and approvals are accurate.
• Distribute and analyze incentive programs and generate productivity reports.

Safety, compliance, and budget

• Ensure safety compliance and complete inspections, coach cards, observations, and facility audits.
• Record work delays in SWMS and support annual warehouse budget preparation and weekly monitoring.
• Develop cost-reduction action plans; support collective bargaining procedures where applicable.
• Comply with food safety, quality, and legality requirements and promote environmental, health, and safety performance.
• Support company policies and an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• At least two years of logistics or warehouse experience; five years is preferred.
• Warehouse supervisory experience is preferred.
• High school diploma required; a diploma or degree in Logistics and/or Operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of SWMS, Workday, Synetellic, CANVAS, Intelex, or a labour standards system is an asset.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

Shift schedule

• Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
