Senior Database Analyst in the Enterprise Big Data Solutions team, helping define and drive Global Payments' data strategy.

What you'll own
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic goals and drive value through data and analytics capabilities and technology.
- Identify and develop opportunities to improve analytical and data solutions.
- Deliver industry-best-practice products and solutions.
- Own the quality of personal deliverables and contribute to team quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot data requirements, modelling, quality, and governance issues with the wider team.
- Support key projects and programmes critical to team success.
What you'll bring
- Strong technical and development skills, including ability to work hands-on.
- Excellent SQL skills and experience with data-industry tools, languages, and products, particularly SSMS/SSIS and Oracle database design.
- Extensive experience translating complex business requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent audience-aware communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and adapt.
Bonus experience
- Salesforce experience managing client activity and maintaining accurate, compliant records is a bonus.
- Payments, fintech, or client-facing commercial experience is a bonus.
- Using data or insights to improve client performance, retention, or growth is a bonus.
