The Data, Analytics and AI team provides data, analytics, and business intelligence to support data-driven decisions, efficiency, and returns.
The Data Science Expert is expected to strengthen the bank’s data science capabilities and help realize benefits from its data.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advanced data science solutions with business executives and departments; use cases include intelligent character recognition, computer vision, behavioral analysis, early-warning analysis, generative AI, NLP, LLMs, and hyper-personalization.
- Design, test, and launch complex analytical models using data-mining techniques on structured and unstructured data.
- Develop big-data capabilities and coordinate cross-functional analytical initiatives.
- Work on data-mining and collection procedures; ensure data quality and integrity; interpret and analyze data problems.
- Conceive, plan, and prioritize data projects; build analytical systems, predictive models, and AI capabilities.
- Test data-driven products, experiment with models and techniques, visualize data, create reports, and present to stakeholders including senior management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as data science, computer science, mathematics, or statistics.
- At least 7 years of experience in data science roles.
- Banking or fintech experience is preferred.
- Certifications in Python, R, SQL, AI, and machine learning are described as nice to have.
