Description
Defines and implements data governance frameworks, ownership, and standards across Azure data platforms, ensuring trusted, compliant, and well-documented data.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in data governance, data management, or analytics roles
- Hands-on experience supporting Azure-based data platforms in enterprise environments
Technical Expertise
- Data governance frameworks, policies, and operating models
- Data ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage
• Microsoft Purview And Azure Purview
- Data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR)
- Understanding of Azure data platforms and data lifecycle management
Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst or Azure Fundamentals (preferred)
- Data governance or privacy certifications are a plus
Soft Skills
- Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders
- Structured, detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to influence and align across teams
