Role Overview
The Data Analyst, DC Planning and Engineering supports Sephora's distribution center network through data, reporting, and operational analytics.
The role reports to the Manager, Logistics Financial Planning and Analytics and supports distribution center operations teams with key performance indicators.
Work Location
- The stated work location is Perryman Distribution Center in Perryman, Maryland, with alternate distribution center location or remote consideration.
- The role includes travel to other distribution centers, estimated at three times per year.
Responsibilities
- Identify datasets and maintain reporting platforms for distribution center operations.
- Use SQL and distribution center systems knowledge to collect, analyze, and report data.
- Validate reporting platform data and assemble complex datasets against business requirements.
- Improve scalability, data delivery, reporting, and manual process automation.
- Build analytical tools and actionable operational performance insights.
- Support WMS and WES configuration responsibilities and resolve data-related technical issues with stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of technical data experience with distribution center systems, data exports, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Oracle data mining, Oracle SQL or SQL, WMS, WES, WCS, order management, and middleware systems.
- Experience with ThoughtSpot and dotcom and retail distribution center systems and operations.
- Working knowledge of distribution center practices and supply chain, WMS, WCS, and WES data concepts.
- Ability to collaborate with IT, operations, and leadership while managing multiple deadlines.
Compensation
- Annual base salary range is $82,000 to $92,000.
- Employees may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
