Position purpose
Hands-on delivery role combining SAP SD functional expertise with project and programme management across Sephora Middle East.
The role delivers enterprise application initiatives, analyzes SAP processes and issues, and assesses new business requirements.
It bridges business stakeholders, SAP and technology teams, global teams, and implementation partners.
The role covers end-to-end OTC and Supply Chain processes and delivery through testing, deployment, hypercare, and operational handover.
Project and programme delivery
- Manage initiatives from requirements and solution assessment through planning, build, SIT/UAT, deployment, Go/No-Go, hypercare, and operational handover.
- Own plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and governance across matrixed teams.
- Use structured practices such as PMP/PRINCE2, Agile, and SAP Activate where appropriate; support change and release management.
SAP SD and retail process analysis
- Analyze sales orders, pricing, delivery, goods issue, billing, returns, credits, and end-to-end OTC processes.
- Manage Supply Chain and Logistics activities, including SAP configuration and troubleshooting, VL01N delivery documents, stock checks, and PGI.
- Conduct fit-gap and impact analysis, identify cross-functional dependencies, and favor standard SAP capabilities over unnecessary customization.
- Analyze IDocs, messages, APIs, and other integrations to assess changes and incidents across the application landscape.
Solution assessment and support
- Evaluate functional fit, integration dependencies, feasibility, operational impact, risk, and total cost of ownership of proposed solutions.
- Coordinate root-cause analysis and corrective actions for significant incidents across SAP and connected systems.
- Ensure testing, documentation, service transition, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live support arrangements are in place.
Stakeholder and vendor management
- Work with business, Finance, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, technology teams, and global SAP organizations to support clear decisions.
- Manage SAP partners, system integrators, and vendors against scope, quality, milestones, and service commitments; escalate risks when required.
Experience and technical qualifications
- 5–7 years in enterprise-scale project and programme management; S/4 migration experience is highly advantageous.
- Proven enterprise project or programme management in large-scale retail; multi-country or matrixed experience is ideal.
- Hands-on retail SAP SD knowledge across OTC, Supply Chain, pricing, orders, delivery, billing, returns, and integrations with inventory, logistics, and Finance.
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration exposure and understanding of ECC versus S/4HANA, especially in OTC, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
- Experience assessing requirements, conducting fit-gap and impact analysis, and managing testing, deployment, hypercare, and support.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is required; ITIL, service transition, and SAP Activate experience are advantageous.
Education and additional qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Middle East retail or multi-market experience is preferred, particularly regional commercial, tax, pricing, and operational knowledge.
- Excellent English communication and stakeholder management skills; structured, analytical, collaborative, and delivery-focused.
- Fluent English; Arabic and/or French is a plus.
Culture
- The employer describes an inclusive community, a culture of empowerment and learning, and work intended to bring fulfillment.
