Core Network Solution Architect [5G Core]

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer needs and industry scenarios; design solutions covering 4G EPC, 5G Core, IMS, and related core-network domains.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations; prepare configurations, proposals, quotations, bid responses, and supporting documentation.
• Support RFI/RFP/RFQ and tender work, including technical clarification and competitive analysis.
• Support customer projects and opportunities from solution design through bidding and project execution.
• Coordinate with sales, product, engineering, delivery, and other teams to ensure solutions are feasible and aligned with customer requirements.
• Analyze markets and competitors, develop customer relationships, identify pain points, and translate requirements into network solutions.
• Support opportunity- and project-lifecycle solution operations; contribute to standardization, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Technical requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Telecommunications, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Core Network, telecom solutions, solution architecture, pre-sales, or solution sales.
• Strong Core Network architecture and solution knowledge, including 4G EPC and 5G Core; good knowledge of IMS and related voice/core-network solutions.
• Experience with CS/IMS, PS/EPC, 5G Core, and PCRF/PCF technologies.
• Strong solution design, technical and competitive analysis, and preparation of technical solutions, configurations, quotations, and bid/tender responses.
• Basic commercial and business solution-design capability, with strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.

Preferred experience

• Familiarity with Huawei Core Network solutions and products; Huawei MTL and LTC process familiarity and related Huawei experience are preferred or advantageous.
• Telecom operator-facing solution development or pre-sales, experience with major telecom vendors, large telecom tenders, competitive analysis, and 4G/5G Core evolution are preferred.

• The described position is based in Dubai, UAE.
