Administrative and HR duties
- Create and maintain filing systems, employee files, and accurate personnel records.
- Prepare office correspondence, distribute and route mail, answer calls, and record messages.
- Order and track HR office supplies and forms.
- Assist candidates with application procedures and maintain a clean, accessible application area.
- Respond to employee and management inquiries about company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines.
- Report employee-relations issues to HR management and safeguard confidential personnel and hotel information.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions; welcome guests and communicate professionally.
- Support coworkers and team goals, meet quality standards, use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve information, and perform other reasonable assigned duties.
Recommended qualifications
- A secondary-school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
- At least one year of related work experience is recommended.
- No supervisory experience is required.
