The Human Resources Coordinator supports HR office administration and employee and candidate services.
The role is full time, non-management, and not remote.
HR administration and records
- Create and maintain filing systems, prepare correspondence, distribute mail, and track HR supplies and forms.
- Answer calls and record messages; create personnel files and accurately maintain employee records, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
- Respond to questions about HR programs, policies, and guidelines; raise employee-relations issues with HR management.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of employee and property records and information.
Candidate and workplace support
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and keep the application area clean, maintained, and accessible.
- Welcome guests, communicate professionally, prepare and review documents, and answer telephones appropriately.
- Support team goals, maintain positive working relationships, respond to employee concerns, and meet quality standards.
- Follow company policies, protect assets, report unsafe conditions or injuries, use computers or point-of-sale systems to handle work information, and perform other reasonable assigned duties.
- May move or handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
