HR administration
- Create and maintain filing systems and type office correspondence; distribute and route mail.
- Order and track HR office supplies and forms; answer phone calls and record messages.
- Create personnel files and maintain accurate employee records, including interview documents and I-9s.
- Assist walk-in candidates with application procedures and maintain a clean, accessible application area.
- Respond to questions and concerns about HR programs, policies, and guidelines; inform HR management of employee-relations issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee and property records, files, and information.
General workplace duties
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, protect company assets and confidential information, and report accidents or unsafe work conditions.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, communicate professionally, prepare and review written documents, and answer telephones appropriately.
- Maintain positive working relationships, support team goals, meet quality standards, and enter or locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors; the role may involve moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
