Position details

Food preparation and cooking
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, storing, washing, peeling, measuring, and mixing them.
- Prepare and cook food, including cold foods, according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, and test food for doneness.
- Monitor food quality and ensure food and equipment temperatures are appropriate.
- Set up and clean work areas, portion and plate food, and clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow company and safety procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional uniform and grooming, protect confidential information and company property, and communicate professionally.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, listen and respond to colleagues' concerns, and uphold quality standards.
- Work on one's feet and perform reaching, bending, twisting, crouching, and lifting or moving objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable duties as directed by a supervisor.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license/certification is specified as necessary.
