Role Description
The Continuous Improvement Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai, focused on enhancing operational efficiency across editorial and business processes.
This role involves mapping and analyzing existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending practical improvements to support timely, high-quality publication.
The manager collaborates with cross-functional teams such as editorial, marketing, and production to implement standardized procedures and performance metrics.
Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and interpreting operational data, facilitating improvement workshops, monitoring progress against defined KPIs, and documenting updated processes.
The role also supports change management by training team members on new practices and ensuring continuous feedback loops.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Business Process Improvement and Process Improvement, with demonstrated experience streamlining workflows and reducing operational waste.
- Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Background in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, with experience implementing standardized procedures and performance measures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear documentation and presentation capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
- Experience in media, publishing, or a fast-paced service environment is beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Dubai and managing part-time hours with consistent availability.
