Role Description
The Performance Manager is a part-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational and editorial performance of Dubai Magazine.
Day-to-day tasks include monitoring key performance indicators for content and advertising, analyzing audience and revenue data, and preparing regular performance reports for leadership.
The role involves coordinating with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to implement performance improvement initiatives, ensure budget adherence, and support training on performance best practices.
The Performance Manager will also contribute to setting performance targets, refining workflows, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics, audience data, and financial reports.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights to stakeholders.
- Proven experience in performance management and setting measurable goals within media, publishing, or related industries.
- Experience in training team members on performance standards, processes, and tools.
- Budgeting skills to track costs, manage departmental budgets, and support financial planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Media Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in analytics or project management are an advantage.
- Proficiency with performance and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, BI dashboards, web analytics platforms).
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
