The Revenue Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements.
In this role, the Revenue Manager will oversee revenue planning, forecasting, and performance tracking across advertising, subscriptions, and partnerships.
Day-to-day tasks include analyzing revenue reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and optimizing pricing and packages to maximize profitability.
The role involves collaborating with finance, sales, and editorial teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and alignment with business goals.
The Revenue Manager will also support budgeting processes, identify growth opportunities, and recommend data-driven strategies to improve overall revenue management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and create actionable insights.
- Proficiency in revenue management and revenue recognition, preferably within a media, publishing, or digital business environment.
- Solid foundation in finance and accounting, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel or similar) and familiarity with reporting software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with strong time management skills suitable for a part-time, hybrid work arrangement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in finance or accounting are an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Dubai and wider UAE business environment is beneficial, along with an interest in media and publishing.
