Consultant Physician – Pediatric Vascular Surgery
A leading **government healthcare client** in the **Abu Dhabi Region** is seeking a highly experienced **Consultant Physician – Pediatric Vascular Surgery** to join its advanced pediatric surgical services.
This role is ideal for a senior specialist with strong expertise in **vascular anomalies in children**, **complex vascular reconstruction**, and **pediatric surgical vascular care** within a tertiary healthcare setting.
Key Skills
- Expertise in **Pediatric Vascular Surgery** and **Complex Vascular Anomalies**
- Strong experience in managing **Vascular Malformations**, **Hemangiomas**, and **Congenital Vascular Disorders**
- Proficiency in **Open and Minimally Invasive Vascular Procedures in Pediatric Patients**
- Experience in **Vascular Reconstruction and Emergency Vascular Interventions**
- Knowledge of **Pediatric Trauma Vascular Management**
- Strong multidisciplinary collaboration skills in complex surgical teams
- Excellent surgical precision and decision-making in high-risk cases
Duties And Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage complex **pediatric vascular conditions and anomalies**
- Perform **vascular reconstructive and corrective surgeries** in children
- Manage **vascular emergencies and trauma-related vascular injuries**
- Provide specialist consultation for referred complex vascular cases
- Collaborate with **Pediatric Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Plastic Surgeons, and ICU teams**
- Develop individualized surgical and treatment plans for complex vascular disorders
- Participate in **multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives**
- Contribute to research, teaching, and training of junior surgical staff
Qualifications
- **MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree**
- **Specialization in Pediatric Surgery / Vascular Surgery**
- Proven **Consultant-level experience in Pediatric Vascular Surgery**
- **DOH License / Eligibility** or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in **tertiary care hospitals or specialized vascular surgery centers** is highly preferred
