Consultant Physician – Pediatric ENT
A leading **government healthcare client** in the **Abu Dhabi Region** is seeking an experienced **Consultant Physician – Pediatric ENT (Otolaryngology)** to join its specialized pediatric surgical and medical services team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior specialist with expertise in **ear, nose, and throat disorders in children**, dedicated to delivering advanced diagnostic and surgical care within a multidisciplinary tertiary healthcare environment.
Key Skills
- Expertise in **Pediatric ENT (Otolaryngology)**
- Strong experience in managing **Airway Disorders, Tonsillitis, Adenoid Hypertrophy, and Otitis Media**
- Proficiency in **Pediatric ENT Surgical Procedures** including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, and ear surgeries
- Experience in managing **Congenital ENT abnormalities** and complex pediatric airway cases
- Strong knowledge of **Pediatric Hearing Assessment and Audiology Interpretation**
- Ability to manage **emergency ENT cases in children**
- Excellent multidisciplinary collaboration skills
Duties And Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of **pediatric ENT conditions**
- Perform **elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures** in pediatric patients
- Manage complex airway, ear, nose, and throat disorders in children
- Provide specialist consultations for referred pediatric ENT cases
- Collaborate with **Pediatricians, Audiologists, Speech Therapists, Anesthesiologists, and Surgeons**
- Ensure safe perioperative care including pre- and post-operative management
- Participate in **multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives**
- Contribute to teaching, training, and supervision of junior medical staff
Qualifications
- **MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree**
- **Specialization in ENT / Otolaryngology**
- Proven **Consultant-level experience in Pediatric ENT**
- **DOH License / Eligibility** or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in **tertiary care hospitals or specialized pediatric ENT centers** is preferred
