Construction Manager – All Disciplines for Oil & Gas/EPC projects in Qatar.
Leads overall construction execution and ensures compliance with project scope, drawings, specifications, and QatarEnergy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and structural construction activities.
- Manage site manpower, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and work fronts.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, QA/QC, SHES, commissioning, and project management teams.
- Monitor schedules, identify delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate drawings, method statements, ITPs, lifting plans, work permits, inspections, field changes, and technical clarifications.
- Ensure quality, safety, environmental, security, and permit-to-work compliance.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and contractual milestones.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning, clear punch lists, and coordinate project handover.
- Report progress, risks, and challenges to senior management and the client.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Engineering, or a relevant engineering diploma.
- Generally 15+ years of Oil & Gas/EPC construction experience, including substantial construction management experience.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on major industrial or Oil & Gas projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction planning, site execution, manpower management, and subcontractor coordination.
- Good knowledge of drawings, method statements, ITPs, lifting plans, work permits, and project specifications.
- QatarEnergy project experience and familiarity with its requirements are highly desirable.
- Leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and ability to deliver safely within schedule and budget.
