Role overview
Create, develop, and coordinate architectural BIM models for architectural and interior design projects using Autodesk Revit.
Ensure model quality and compliance with project requirements and BIM standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D architectural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare construction drawings including plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.
- Model interior design elements such as furniture, ceilings, wall finishes, millwork, and joinery.
- Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP disciplines to detect and resolve clashes.
- Update models for design changes, consultant comments, and client requirements; produce packages for design, tender, and construction stages.
- Create and manage Revit families, templates, and project standards; check quality and compliance with BIM execution plans.
- Attend BIM coordination meetings and collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams.
- Support quantity take-offs and project documentation when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience as an Architectural BIM Modeler; source also lists three years as required in its experience field.
- Proven interior design modeling experience using Autodesk Revit; advanced Revit proficiency.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with BIM standards, LOD requirements, and BIM Execution Plans.
- Strong understanding of architectural construction drawings and detailing.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Additional skills
- Navisworks experience for model coordination and clash detection is an advantage.
