The position is full time, on site, and non-management.
Kitchen duties
- Prepare and cook food to recipe, quality, and presentation standards; prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing them.
- Use baking and measuring equipment safely and appropriately to prepare baked foods.
- Follow food-safety, food-handling, and personal-hygiene procedures.
- Check kitchen appliance and food temperatures and report issues to management.
- Wash and disinfect the kitchen, set up and break down the workstation, and follow sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Monitor food quality and portions throughout the shift.
Workplace and conduct
- Follow company safety and security procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets.
- Communicate professionally, answer telephones appropriately, and maintain positive working relationships while supporting team goals.
- Meet quality standards; move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and perform extended standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, and similar movements.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is listed; no supervisory experience is required for the position.
