Full-time, non-management culinary position in Dubai; the posting states it is not remote.
Position summary and duties
- Prepare and cook food to recipes, quality standards, presentation requirements, and preparation checklists.
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing them before use.
- Use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely to prepare baked foods.
- Follow food safety and personal hygiene procedures.
- Check food and kitchen appliance temperatures and report issues to management.
- Wash and disinfect the kitchen; set up and break down the workstation; follow sanitation and cleaning procedures.
- Monitor food quality and portions throughout the shift.
- Follow company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions; complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate professionally.
- Work positively with colleagues, support team goals, meet quality standards, and perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Preferred qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Less than one year of related work experience is listed as preferred.
- No supervisory experience is listed as the preferred qualification.
- No license or certification is listed.
Physical demands
The role involves moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds, traversing uneven or slippery surfaces, reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
