Kitchen Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, chop, weigh, measure, mix, and store ingredients.
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and applicable quality and presentation standards.
- Prepare cold foods and serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test foods, monitor quality, and check appliance and food temperatures.
- Set up and break down the workstation.
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
Safety and Team Duties
- Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
- Communicate clearly and professionally and maintain positive working relationships.
- Stand, bend, twist, stoop, reach, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is listed as a preferred qualification.
- No supervisory experience is listed as required.
- No license or certification is listed.
