Full-time schedule; the posting states the position is not remote and is non-management.
Kitchen duties
- Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods; cook according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
- Operate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; move frozen food to refrigerator storage to thaw.
- Ensure appropriate portions, arrangement, garnish, and food quality; monitor food quantity and maintain food logs.
- Communicate support needs during busy periods; tell the Chef about excess food for specials and advise Food and Beverage staff about specials or unavailable menu items.
Team and workplace duties
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model.
- Follow company, safety, and security procedures; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, anticipate guest needs, and communicate professionally.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, respond to employee concerns, and meet quality standards.
- Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is listed.
Physical requirements
- The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
