Banquet Driver, full-time schedule, non-management position in Food and Beverage & Culinary.
The position is not remote and is located in Doha, Qatar.
Position summary
- Break down functions by cleaning rooms and returning equipment to its proper location; complete closing duties and secure reusable goods and doors.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; keep assigned stations and service areas clean, sanitary, and organized.
- Transport dirty linen, separate napkins from tablecloths, and restock shelves with clean linens; follow clean-as-you-go procedures.
- Assist other departments to support guest service.
- Follow safety and security procedures, report accidents or unsafe work conditions, complete safety training, and protect company assets and confidential information.
- Welcome guests, address their service needs, communicate professionally, and meet quality standards.
- Work extended shifts standing, sitting, or walking; navigate uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and service ramps; move and handle objects of varying weights.
- Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and objects over 75 pounds with assistance; perform reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- No license or certification is specified.
