Commis I - Banquet Kitchen in Food and Beverage & Culinary.

Kitchen duties
- Prepare special meals, substitutions, and cold foods; cook according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and checklists.
- Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; thaw frozen food in refrigeration.
- Ensure proper portions, arrangement, and garnish; monitor food quality and quantity and maintain food logs.
- Inform the Chef about excess food for daily specials and service staff about specials or out-of-stock items.
- Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and address guest service needs.
Team, safety, and physical duties
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow company and safety policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, company assets, positive working relationships, and quality standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach, bend, twist, stoop, and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Preferred qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of related work experience preferred.
- No supervisory experience listed; no license or certification listed.
