Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook food to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists; prepare cold foods.
- Operate kitchen equipment, test food for doneness, and monitor food quality.
- Set up and break down workstations, portion and serve food, and clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
- Check food and appliance temperatures; follow safety and security procedures, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, protect company assets, communicate clearly, and support team goals.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications and physical requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of related work experience are listed as preferred qualifications.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.
- The role requires extended standing, sitting, or walking and reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
