Prepare a variety of sushi, including maki, nigiri, and sashimi, using cooked and raw fish, fruits, and vegetables.
Work in a satellite kitchen and support the brand by following its standards and recipes.
What you’ll do
- Ensure quality, speed, and accuracy in all food orders and maintain food consistency across relevant brands.
- Prepare and cook customer meals to a high standard, following recipe guidelines and paying close attention to detail.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and follow food-safety procedures.
- Work with teammates to set up the kitchen for success and follow Kitopi and brand standards.
- Work effectively in a fast-moving, high-energy environment with diverse groups of people.
Who they are looking for
- Previous experience working as a Sushi Chef is required.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of sushi types and sushi rolling techniques.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain effective under pressure.
- Understand the importance of product quality and cleanliness.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Quick Service Restaurant experience is advantageous.
