Role overview

What you’ll do

• Report on time, check the schedule the day before, and attend daily 15-minute training.
• Prepare daily production according to plan and establish par stock to avoid overproduction.
• Organize coolers and freezers to food-safety standards; check equipment and record cooler and freezer temperatures, taking action when needed.
• Maintain food quality and appearance, sanitary standards, and the clean-as-you-go policy.
• Break down food after production and at shift end; follow procedures for rotation, dating, labeling, covering, and cleaning supplies.
• Work the hours required, normally at least 48 hours per week, and perform other related tasks as assigned.

Who they are looking for

• Experience in a similar environment is preferred; high-volume catering experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of one or more of these areas: Italian, Lebanese, Mexican, bakery, Oriental, international, butchery, or hot and cold sections.
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills; initiative and reliability.
• Ability to work alone and within a team.
• A good level of English is essential.
• Quick Service Restaurant experience is advantageous.
