The role supports food preparation and kitchen operations in a fast-paced professional kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in workstations and kitchen areas.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards; store and handle food properly.
- Support busy service periods and maintain consistent preparation and presentation.
- Follow senior chefs' instructions and contribute positively to the team.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Good communication and teamwork skills; positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous Commis or professional kitchen experience is preferred.
- A culinary qualification is an advantage.
- Candidates able to join immediately are preferred.
