Food preparation and kitchen duties
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, washing, peeling, weighing, measuring, and mixing.
- Prepare and cook food to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food-preparation checklists.
- Prepare cold foods and operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers.
- Test food for doneness and monitor food quality.
- Set up and break down the station and serve food in proper portions.
- Wash and disinfect the kitchen, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
- Check appliance and food temperatures.
Safety and teamwork
- Follow company, safety, and security procedures and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Complete safety training and protect company assets and proprietary information.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and communicate professionally.
- Build positive working relationships, support team goals, and meet quality standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified.
Physical demands
- Able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or an entire work shift.
- Able to bend, twist, reach overhead and below the knees, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
