Commis 3 - Bakery position with FIVE Hotels and Resorts in Dubai.
The role involves kitchen preparation and service in a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.
Compensation
- Fixed monthly salary of AED 1,000.
Qualifications and experience
- Proven experience as a Commis 3 or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine-dining restaurant.
- Culinary basics are required, including knife skills, cooking methods, and ingredient preparation.
- Knowledge of safe kitchen equipment use, HACCP, health and safety, food hygiene, and restaurant practices is required.
- A culinary degree or equivalent qualification is preferred; pre-opening kitchen setup experience is advantageous.
- Must be flexible to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on hotel requirements.
Kitchen responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes to FIVE culinary standards and assist senior chefs with kitchen work.
- Contribute to menu development, flavours, and presentation ideas.
- Maintain mise en place, stock rotation, clean workstations, and kitchen equipment.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently while following food safety and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen colleagues to support coordinated operations.
