Food preparation and cooking
- Portion, chop, and store ingredients; wash and peel fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
- Prepare and cook food to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists; prepare cold foods.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test for doneness and monitor food quality.
- Set up and break down workstations, portion and serve food, and clean and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment.
- Check food and appliance temperatures; follow safety and quality policies, report concerns, and support team goals.
Preferred qualifications and work conditions
- At least one year of related work experience and a high school diploma or GED equivalent are preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is required.
- The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking, repeated reaching and bending, and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
