Overview

The Commercial Operations & Sales Excellence Executive is responsible for supporting the commercial team through data analysis, business intelligence, CRM administration, sales planning, reporting and process optimization.

The role acts as the operational backbone of the Commercial Department, ensuring that sales activities, customer data, pipeline management, reporting and performance analytics are translated into actionable insights that improve revenue growth, profitability and commercial effectiveness.

This position serves as a key link between Sales, Category Management, Finance, Customer Service, Marketing and ERP/Business Intelligence functions.

Commercial Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain commercial dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI, Salesforce and ERP data.
  • Analyse sales performance by customer, category, salesperson, supplier, channel and product.
  • Monitor revenue, gross profit, product mix, customer penetration and growth trends.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly commercial performance reports.
  • Identify opportunities, risks and performance gaps requiring management attention.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and sales planning exercises.

Crm & Salesforce Administration

  • Act as the key administrator and super-user for Salesforce.
  • Monitor CRM compliance, data quality and pipeline accuracy.
  • Ensure opportunities, activities and customer records are properly maintained.
  • Develop reports, dashboards and workflows to improve sales effectiveness.
  • Train and support users on CRM best practices.
  • Drive CRM adoption across the commercial team.

Sales Operations Support

  • Support the sales team with account analysis, customer reviews and business development initiatives.
  • Prepare customer performance reviews and profitability analyses.
  • Assist in sales planning and territory management.
  • Coordinate sales meetings, pipeline reviews and action tracking.
  • Support implementation of sales processes and operating procedures.

Business Intelligence & Process Improvement

  • Translate operational and transactional data into commercial insights.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and reduce manual processes.
  • Support integration between ERP, CRM and Business Intelligence systems.
  • Develop analytical tools that improve decision-making and sales productivity.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accountability.

Commercial Governance

  • Maintain key commercial KPIs and performance scorecards.
  • Support incentive calculations and performance tracking.
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of commercial data.
  • Assist management with ad-hoc analysis and strategic projects.
  • Pay: AED1,524.65 - AED15,613.86 per month
