Overview
The **Chef** is responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards, ensuring excellent presentation, taste, and hygiene.
Innovative and forward-thinking, capable of contributing to the success of the Prime Gourmet Central Kitchen by developing exceptional products for the retail market.
This role involves menu planning, ingredient management, kitchen supervision, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with standard recipes and quality requirements.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food storage.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure teamwork, discipline, and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
- Train and guide junior staff on cooking techniques and safety standards.
- Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
