Overview
The **Accountant** **Cashier** will be responsible for managing the Point of sales transactions while assisting with a wide range of accounting tasks.
This role requires a high level of accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
The ideal candidate will support daily operations, including purchase order creation, invoice posting, sales reporting, and financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the customer order and post from the POS.
- Ensure the price accuracy in the POS and with the wholesale customer.
- Post the wholesale customer sales invoices in the ERP.
- Close the daybook and reconcile the sales data.
- Reconcile the daily sales and maintain the proper accounting records.
- Control the inventory and manage and ensure the accurate posting of wastage and inter-store transfers.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations, including sales and wastage reports.
- Post the assembly orders for the goods sold.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for financial documents and support document management.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
- Accurately input financial data into company databases and accounting software.
- Update and maintain financial records, ensuring data consistency and integrity across systems.
- Competency and skill required
- Accounting or finance skills is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience of LS retail POS is plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Qualification
- College graduate (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).
