Role Description
The Collections Officer is responsible for managing, monitoring, and following up on all customer payments related to property purchases, ensuring timely collection of dues, and maintaining accurate financial records.
This role supports the company’s cash-flow objectives and ensures compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact clients regarding outstanding payments through calls, emails, and official notices, ensuring timely settlement of dues.
- Monitor payment schedules for off-plan and ready properties and update internal systems accordingly.
- Liaise with clients to clarify payment terms, resolve discrepancies, and provide account statements when required.
- Coordinate with the legal team for overdue accounts that require formal action.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections, receipts, and communication logs.
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Customer Relations teams to ensure alignment on client accounts.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with UAE laws, RERA guidelines, and company policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in collections, preferably within the UAE real estate/property development sector.
- Strong understanding of payment plans, SPAs, RERA regulations, and property handover processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Russian-speaking candidates are highly preferred due to client communication requirements.
