Qualification and Experience

• B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science, or MCA or M.Tech, is required.
• One to two years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud security or security operations is required.

Cloud Security Operations

• Monitor and manage Cortex Cloud, including alerts, policy tuning, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Coordinate Cortex Cloud integration, connectivity, and issue resolution with Cloud Infrastructure teams.
• Monitor and investigate findings from AWS Security Hub and Amazon GuardDuty.
• Analyze GuardDuty findings and support remediation activities.
• Perform CSPM assessments, identify security gaps, and track remediation against organizational controls.

Security Improvement and Collaboration

• Review AWS security configurations and recommend security best practices.
• Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application teams to communicate gaps and ensure closure.
• Perform cloud security investigations, integrations, and other ad-hoc tasks.
• Review cloud hardening guides and validate compliance with security standards.
• Support security activities for containers and Kubernetes workloads.

Governance and Reporting

• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cloud security governance reports.
• Present security posture, findings, remediation status, and key observations during governance meetings.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS services and security configurations is required.
• Basic hands-on experience with Cortex Cloud includes alert monitoring, policy tuning, operational support, and basic troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of AWS Security Hub and Amazon GuardDuty is required.
• Knowledge of CSPM concepts, cloud security controls, and identifying security gaps is required.
• Understanding of AWS security best practices and cloud hardening is required.
• Basic understanding of container and Kubernetes security is required.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required for cross-functional coordination.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are required.
• The candidate must be able to communicate findings clearly and follow up with teams for remediation.
