Experienced Cloud Engineer delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
Works across business, cybersecurity, operations, and technical teams.
Business engagement and planning
- Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and facilitate workshops to gather needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Support strategic planning, demand intake, and prioritization; develop business cases and value realization frameworks.
Analysis and solution delivery
- Analyze and document current and future business processes; conduct gap, risk, and feasibility assessments.
- Define requirements, success criteria, and KPIs; translate needs into user stories and functional requirements.
- Validate solutions, support UAT, track requirements, and assist with change management, training, and readiness.
- Support post-implementation reviews and benefits realization.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, controls, frameworks, and operational practices.
- Understanding of cloud security controls including IAM, RBAC, MFA, Zero Trust, encryption, and compliance requirements.
- Experience bridging business, cybersecurity, operations, and technical teams and translating requirements into outcomes.
- Expertise in technical and operational documentation; strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Preferred skills
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, AWS IAM, Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud/Security Center, or equivalent solutions.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Understanding of VNets/VPCs, VPNs, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and NSGs.
