Role overview
Design, implement, automate, and operate secure, scalable, reliable cloud environments and DevOps platforms.
Work with Development, Infrastructure, Application Support, and Security teams to accelerate delivery and support availability, security, performance, and governance.
Cloud platform and automation
- Manage cloud infrastructure, platform services, migrations, modernization, scalability, and cost optimization across Azure and/or Google Cloud.
- Build IaC and automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, patching, and operational work.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, release workflows, and deployment strategies across environments.
- Build and administer Docker environments, Kubernetes clusters, and container orchestration services.
Reliability, security, and collaboration
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and metrics; participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Apply cloud security practices, integrate pipeline security checks, and test backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Support application teams and maintain architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, deployment procedures, and runbooks.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, systems administration, software deployment, or related infrastructure roles.
- Hands-on production cloud, CI/CD, automation, Azure and/or Google Cloud, IaC, Docker, and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience with scripting, Git, monitoring tools, Linux and Windows Server, networking, IAM, and DevSecOps concepts.
