Role Overview
The Cleaning & Waste Manager oversees cleaning operations and waste management across the event site, ensuring a clean, hygienic, and well-maintained environment for visitors, staff, and event partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and waste management plans across the event site.
- Supervise cleaning teams, waste collection staff, and external service providers.
- Monitor cleanliness across public areas, restrooms, food and beverage zones, and back-of-house areas.
- Coordinate waste collection, segregation, disposal, and recycling activities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Manage staffing, cleaning supplies, equipment, and operational requirements.
- Address cleanliness issues promptly and report operational updates to event management.
Qualifications
- Experience managing cleaning and waste operations at large-scale events or public venues, including supervising teams and service providers.
- Knowledge of waste segregation, disposal procedures, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced event environment.
