Key tasks
- Ensure site cleanliness meets relevant workbook standards.
- Monitor cleaning, window cleaning, hygiene and pest-control services against agreed performance and service levels.
- Advise on cleaning processes, materials and equipment; maintain positive team relationships and motivated staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and appraisals; manage teams under CBRE procedures and policies.
- Keep cleaning consumables and equipment available and report building, engineering or equipment defects promptly.
- Maintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, safe systems of work and health and safety arrangements.
- Provide relevant induction, mandatory, professional refresher and other role-related training; develop training programmes and deliver toolbox talks.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Maintain staffing structures and competent teams, balancing costs with service, workload peaks and troughs, and disaster recovery.
- Maintain customer focus and effective relationships with key client contacts.
- Prioritise and delegate planned and reactive tasks; meet service levels and KPIs; update the Concept system and workbooks.
- Maintain CBRE ISO 9002 quality management compliance and records; advise the Site Manager on staffing.
Requirements
- Ensure cleaning services meet the standards set out in the relevant workbooks.
- Monitor cleaning, window cleaning, hygiene and pest-control services against agreed performance and service levels.
- Manage teams, staff performance reviews, appraisals, competence and succession planning.
- Maintain appropriate health and safety arrangements, including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and safe systems of work.
- Ensure staff receive relevant induction, mandatory, refresher and role-specific training.
- Report and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Ensure cleaning consumables and equipment are available and report building, engineering or equipment defects promptly.
- Maintain compliance records for the CBRE ISO 9002 Quality Management System.
