Civil engineering role focused on structural and architectural engineering, especially steel structures and buildings.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site activities and supervise site labor and subcontractors; plan work and organize plant and site facilities to meet deadlines.
- Oversee site quality control and health and safety; prepare reports and resolve technical difficulties.
- Set out, level, and survey the site; check plans, drawings, quantities, and calculation accuracy.
- Ensure materials and completed work meet specifications; oversee selection and requisition of materials and plant.
- Resolve technical issues with employer representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and statutory authorities.
- Apply project procedures, method statements, quality plans, and inspection and test plans to quality control.
- Supervise and counsel junior or trainee engineers; liaise with local authorities on construction regulations and bylaws.
Qualifications and experience
- Strong structural and architectural engineering background, particularly steel structures and buildings.
- Four years of Civil Engineer experience in the UAE is stated as required in one section and preferred in another.
- Bachelor's degree is stated as required in one section and preferred in another.
- UAE driving license is stated as required in one section; a repeated section lists a driving license as preferred.
- DM-approved G+4 qualification is preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,500–7,000 per month.
