The employer is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Civil Draftsman.
The position is based in Dubai and relates to construction-industry drafting work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare civil construction drawings, technical plans, and detailed layouts using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Interpret and coordinate civil, structural, and architectural design documents.
- Ensure drawings comply with Dubai municipality regulations, authority standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to resolve design and construction issues.
- Revise and update drawings based on site feedback and design changes.
- Maintain organized documentation and drawing records for all projects.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant Civil Draftsman experience, preferably within the UAE construction industry.
- Hold a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Be proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software such as Civil 3D or similar.
- Knowledge of Revit is a strong advantage but is not mandatory.
- Have sound knowledge of Dubai construction regulations, building codes, and authority submission procedures.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a proven record of delivering high-quality drawings within tight deadlines.
Pay
- Pay is stated as AED 3,000–4,000 per month.
