Manage and supervise civil construction activities at site, ensuring safe delivery on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
- Plan and coordinate construction work, manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and project teams; monitor progress and timely completion.
- Review drawings, bills of quantities, specifications, and construction methodologies.
- Ensure quality control, project compliance, and adherence to site HSE procedures.
- Resolve technical and construction-related site issues; prepare progress reports and coordinate with project management.
- Manage resources to reduce delays and wastage; oversee documentation, inspections, testing, and work handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant civil construction experience.
- Strong experience managing large-scale civil construction projects.
- Proven site execution, subcontractor management, planning, and coordination experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and manage demanding site operations.
