Job Title: Chemical Engineer (Foam Production)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize **memory foam production**, ensuring consistent formulation and processing.
• Manage and operate **Laader Berg machines** efficiently for high-quality output.
• Analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Implement and monitor **quality control standards** to meet product specifications.
• Ensure compliance with **safety regulations and industry standards**.
• Troubleshoot production, machinery, and quality issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, quality checks, and operational changes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Chemical Engineering** or a related field.
• Minimum **5 years of experience in foam production**, with a focus on **memory foam**.
• Technical certification in foam processing or related specialization is an advantage.

Technical Expertise Required

• Strong knowledge of **Flexible Polyurethane Foam** and Laader Berg foaming technology.
• Experience in:
• Memory foam production
• Batch (Box) foam process
• Spring mattress processing
• Rebonded foam and fillers (e.g., Calcium Carbonate)
• Sustainable and eco-friendly foam materials

Additional Skills

• Proficiency in **Microsoft Office** (Excel, Word) and computerized systems.
• Strong understanding of **chemical processes** including formulation, curing, and material properties.
• Excellent **analytical and problem-solving skills**.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/plant-based role
• Requires hands-on involvement in production processes
