Chef de Partie position in Food and Beverage & Culinary at a Sheraton hotel in Riyadh.

Kitchen duties
- Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods in accordance with recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists.
- Regulate cooking equipment temperatures and thaw frozen food in the refrigerator.
- Portion and present food with appropriate garnishes; monitor food quality and quantity and maintain food logs.
- Tell the chef about surplus ingredients for daily specials and notify service staff about specials and unavailable menu items.
- Communicate staffing support needs during busy periods and assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, coaching, and motivation.
Safety, service, and teamwork
- Follow company safety and security procedures, complete safety training, and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance; protect confidential information and company assets; anticipate and address guest service needs.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, support shared goals, and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns.
- Meet quality expectations and perform physical duties including extended standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Recommended qualifications
- At least 3 years of related work experience is recommended.
- A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is recommended.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.
