Junior Chartered Accountant – Finance & Compliance supporting finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance functions across the group.
Accounting and reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping; maintain financial records, ledgers, invoices, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, financial statements, and management reports.
- Perform bank, customer, supplier, and general-ledger reconciliations; monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
Tax, audit, and compliance
- Support VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and filing requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide financial documents and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records according to applicable accounting standards and support finance and compliance processes across SMS Realty and SMS Consulting.
- Review financial transactions, identify discrepancies, maintain documentation, complete tasks on time, and support management.
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
- Requires 0–1 year of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, taxation, or compliance.
- Requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Basic UAE VAT and Corporate Tax knowledge is an advantage; Dubai/UAE experience is not mandatory.
- Requires analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, communication skills, and accuracy.
- Requires proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, and the ability to work independently and in a team.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–10,000 per month.
