Category Head – Security & ELV (CCTV)

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate security and ELV brands with market potential.
• Research emerging technologies, products, and market gaps to identify business opportunities.
• Build business cases and proposals for potential brand partnerships.
• Approach, negotiate with, and establish relationships with international OEMs and technology manufacturers.
• Negotiate distribution agreements, pricing, margins, rebates, MDF, targets, exclusivity, and commercial terms.
• Lead brand onboarding and go-to-market activities from identification through market launch.
• Develop channel and sales strategies for new brands and establish their presence in the UAE and GCC.
• Own category P&L, revenue, gross margin, and overall performance.
• Develop and execute the annual category strategy and business plan.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years in Security, ELV, CCTV, Access Control, Biometrics, Video Surveillance, or related technology.
• Strong UAE/GCC experience in distribution, channel sales, or category management.
• Proven experience managing security technology brands and channel partners.
• Strong understanding of CCTV/IP cameras, NVRs, access control, biometrics, time attendance, and related solutions.
• Experience identifying and onboarding new brands or OEMs is highly preferred.
• Existing relationships with international security OEMs are an advantage.
• Strong commercial understanding of P&L, margins, pricing, rebates, inventory, and forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation, business development, and vendor-management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build a category.
