Build, install, repair, and maintain property walls, partitions, finishes, and wood structures.
The role is full-time, non-management, and not remote; the posting lists the location as Al Muntazah Street, Sharjah.
Carpentry and maintenance
- Work on drywall, wallpaper, millwork, molding, faux finishes, and laminate finishes.
- Perform rough-in framing for doors, frames, windows, and cabinetry.
- Repair and construct wood partitions, doors, furniture, and other structures throughout the property.
- Complete minor repairs such as tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
Materials, safety, and service
- Order items through requisitions, manager approval, and appropriate vendors; move freight with a hand truck.
- Follow safety and security policies and report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, and injuries.
- Communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, welcome guests, and address their service needs.
Preferred qualifications
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is listed.
Physical demands
The role may require lifting items up to 50 pounds without assistance, fine motor coordination, reaching, bending, stooping, and moving up and down a ladder.
