Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of cargo operations planning for dry cargoes and oil terminals including stevedore operations of a multi cargo port.
- Thorough knowledge of port operations contracts and experience in managing port labour.
- Thorough knowledge of port safety, accident prevention codes, regulations and marine industry governmental regulations related to ports.
- Considerable knowledge of the management and commercial use of dock areas, warehouse facilities and terminals.
- Deck Officer Class 1 1/1 certificate of competency with at least 5 years senior officer experience in oil, gas or dry cargo vessels and 5 years of port operations experience or University Degree with 7 years of experience within port / marine industry
