Job Title: Car Rental Agent
Job Summary:
A Car Rental Agent is responsible for assisting customers with renting vehicles, handling reservations, processing rental agreements, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the rental process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist with vehicle rental inquiries
- Process reservations, rentals, and returns efficiently
- Explain rental terms, pricing, insurance options, and policies
- Inspect vehicles before and after rental for damage
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer information
- Handle payments, deposits, and billing procedures
- Upsell additional services such as insurance or upgrades
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure vehicle availability
- Address customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or car rental industry preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, booking systems)
- Ability to handle cash and payment systems
- Valid driving license (preferred)
